"currently active" users is not changing after deactivating users

Hi

I have a customer with JIRA 6.3.15 taht when deactivating a user and removing it from all groups, user count per licewnsew limit is not changing

User  exists in the internal directory, and existed in AD directory as well.

The user count was not changed after disabling the user in AD, and is not active in the internal directory, and is not a member of any group.

Ask the customer IT to remove the user altogether from AD, but the user count was not changed.

Please advise how to make sure disabled AD users or deactivated users are not counted towards the license limits

Thansk

Hi Hilli,

JIRA 6.3.15 should have the functionality to deactive users to lower the user count. I would try taking a look at our documentation if you haven't already on how to deactive users.

If that doesn't work, there are alternative answers post that address this same issue.
