"Network error" integrating Confluence Server with Jira Cloud

Mateus Martins

Hi all,

It seems Confluence (Server 7.14.1) can reach Jira (Cloud) but Jira can't reach Confluence. Confluence is on port 80 and there is no proxy configured.

As you can see, the status is CONNECTED on Confluence end.

Here is what the Confluence log says:

logApplinkError Network error while attempting to retrieve status of Application Link '9a519eb8-fbc2-3cbc-a4a1-c248c378e060'

I've been trying to solve this for a long time.

Thanks in advance,
Cheers

Hi @Mateus Martins

You are trying to connect to localhost from tje cloud, this can not work. You'll have to replace localhost in the application link with the domain under which you can reach confluence.

And you have to make sure, that your confluence can be reached from the internet, otherwise for Jira it will be impossible to connect.
