On the "For You" page, there is the option to view a list of boards. When I view the list, it shows 4 boards of which have nothing to do with me (I am not working on those projects at all) and shows none of the boards that I have starred. How is this list generated? It appears to be just the first 4 boards in our company. Seems to be a bug.
Hey @Jo-Lee Bertrand,
I've just tested this on different sites and came up with the following:
On sites with fewer boards, the list of boards shown at the For you tab (.../jira/for-you) matches the overall list from the Boards overview (.../jira/boards).
However, it seems like the For you page can only show the first 19(?) boards available and then cuts off the list, showing only one page without pagination. If this is the same for you, I'd recommend submitting a request towards official support as Technical issues and bugs.
Regards from Germany,
Thorsten
For you: Get an overview of the things you care most about in Jira. Find work items, projects, boards, and queues you’ve visited, work assigned to you, and your starred items.

Hi Marc - before I raise this as a bug, I have posted this here to see if my understanding of what should show up in the boards area is correct. I am not quite sure what your response means? Are you suggesting it is a bug? I'll add that I have not visited the boards that are showing, but have visited many boards that are not showing.

I can't tell you there is no more information available, then the line I provided you.
There is no mention if the For You page is defined on your permissions and your created boards.
It just mentions boards, on my instance I see all boards under the section as I have access to all boards.
I don't see this as a Bug, I recommend to contact Atlassian and ask them the question you asked here as well.
