"Drop files here..." box is missing.

I am not sure when this went away but in IE9 the "Drop files here to attach them" went away. It works in FireFox. Google Gears is installed (0.5.36.0) and the Gears settings grant permission to httpe://mycompany.atlassian.net. Any thoughts on how to bring back the drag and drop box?

I am having a hard time figuring out what add-ons are needed to enable the drag and drop box.

You shouldn't need Gears any more - see https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-26080 for why, but I think you'll need to do a bit more debugging on exactly what is enabled/disabled in your IE9 installs!
