"Create multiple sub-tasks" option missing in a status

Hi all,
We're currently using the plug in "Quick sub-tasks for Jira" to create multiple sub-tasks at once.
However, our users noticed some weird behavior: this option is missing in one status, in one project. It means, when the story is in status "Backlog", this option is not there (pic 1), but when I move it to other statuses, the option appears again (pic 2). Please refer to pics for more details. (This status is in To-Do category, transition "Create" leads to this status, if it's relevant).
Other projects do not have any problem with this at all.
Do you know how I can solve this?
