"Application Navigator" not shown in jira download version v5.2.11

In jira 5.2.11, unable to find "Application Navigator" option in administrator section to configure and in jira top left corner to navigate to external application.

Is it avable to this version or any missing in configuration ?

This feature is new in JIRA 6.0, which is not yet available for download customers, but will be out in the next few months.

So, in this jira 5.2.11 download version, we need to access application separate url , jira , confluence, repository ... and can't be navigate through jira.. ?
