Hi @Anuradha kumari

A good first option is to check your current process - instructions on how to achieve this are:

  1. Go to Jira Settings / Jira Admin (depending if Server or Cloud) > Issues > Workflows
  2. Locate your workflow and press Edit
  3. Click to select the transition to your "Done" status and choose Properties
  4. In Property Key, enter "jira.field.resolution.exclude"
  5. In Property Value, enter the resolution IDs you wish to exclude separated by commas and press Add
  6. Go back to the workflow view and press "Publish Draft" to set the edits you've made active.

Note:

  • To get the Resolution IDs, go to Jira Settings / Admin > Issues > Resolutions, press Edit next to a resolution and the ID is the numeric code after "?id=" in the title
  • You'll need the Resolution Screen set within these transitions to see a list of resolutions with those excluded. Add the Resolution Screen by selecting a transition, pressing Edit and changing the screen.
  • You need to do this for every transition to the "Done" status separately, if you have multiple routes to get to done.
