Simon Lu August 8, 2011

Hi,

There is one thing need your help,

When I create a new user with group permission, and then login to the JIRA, it shows below error - permission violation.

the user is able to login, but looks like some operation did not get the permission.

Can I find the detail information in JIRA to figure out what kind of permission violation in order to solve it?

Thanks,

Simon

Sounds like they are not a member of jira-users, specifically, at least one of the groups with the global USE permission.

From my understanding for your question, please check the permission of the project is correct or not, that is in Scheme ->Permission Schemes(my JIRA version is 3.12), and then add the scheme to your project.

Appreciate for all of your kindly feedback / support,

Finally I found the root cause, the login page with specific permission information is internal user only with jira user permission, and the accounte that I create for outsite customer cannot access it.

After change the login page to default login page, it works fine,

Thanks for your help again
