pager in filters

When you apply a filter in Jira, the pager doesn't work.

Thank you for you quick replay.

we have an external audit of the company, and they are requesting a filter that reflects both the first requests and the last ones, using the same filter. Therefore, we would like to aviod changing the filter and be able to paginate it to retrieve both the first and last requests. 

wHy has this functionality been removed? is it a system error or is it going to be permanently discontinued?
