Hello,

I'm trying to migrate from my existing Ubuntu server to a Debian 8.2 Jessie server. But I have problem with installing JIRA.

I Installed openjdk-8 via jessie-backports on my Debian machine. But JIRA fails on testing the java version.

When I type java -version I get this response:

openjdk version "1.8.0_66-internal"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_66-internal-b17)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.66-b17, mixed mode)

While the check-java.sh checks for java version openjdk returns openjdk version.

How can I solve this problem?

Thanks,
Jacob

By using the official Oracle JDK.  OpenJDK is not supported.
