long questionnaires in Jira

Is there a good way setup a long questionnaires in Jira? I know Jira can prompt for short field type names but what if you want to prompt the user for long sentence type questions? How have you accomplished such a thing? Maybe it is not a good fit for Jira.

I'd use the JIRA Toolkit "message field for edit" type field to ask the question, and a free text field for the answer (if you want a long free-form answer anyway)
