Hello,

I would like to add time tracking to my Jira Issues and bugs by default. I can add it manually after I created a project but I want to predefine the issues and bugs so they include timetracking.

Hi @Matthias Wessner

Navigate to Jira Settings, then Issues, and select Time Tracking under Issue Features.

  • If it's not enabled, click Activate and configure the settings as needed, including time format and working hours.
  • Next, add the Time Tracking field to the relevant issue types.

Go to Project Settings, then Issue Types, and select each issue type where you want to track time, such as Story, Bug, or Task. Ensure the Time Tracking field is added to the Create, Edit, and View Screens.

Hope this helps - Happy to help further!!
Thank you very much and have a great one!
Warm regards
