I'm currently using the free trial of the capacity tracker, which is supposed to support up to 10 users. However, I've added more than 10 users, and the app is still functioning. Can you clarify this discrepancy?
Additionally, I have a couple of questions:
Is it possible to limit the app to a single board? I would like to choose a specific board for using the capacity tracker.
I'm interested in purchasing the capacity tracker for 26-30 users. What steps should I take to proceed with the purchase?
Hi @Yunus kayamkhani and welcome to the Community!
When you start a free trial of a marketplace, you have a free trial for whatever number of users you have on your site. It is a free trial, period. Apps are always billed at the number of users you have in your instance; if you have 20 users, the app will also be billed for 20 users. If this increases to 50, your app will automatically be billed for 50 as well.
The purchasing process depends on how you are currently being billed. If you are on a monthly plan, then you will automatically be billed at the end of the month. Your app will be added to your bill when the free trial ends unless you choose to end the trial before that date.
If you are on / want to change to an annual plan, see the process to make that switch.
For more information, do check out the pricing FAQ and the app's documentation, that you can both find on the app's marketplace listing (i.e. where you found the app originally). If the documentation is not clear (cfr. your question about the single board), you should be able to contact the app vendor from the marketplace support tab as well.
Hope this helps!
Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Licences for Atlassian apps currently have to match the number of users you have for the biggest of the applications. If you've got 25 developers in Software and 10 JSM agents, then your apps will be licenced for 25 users.
This is handled automatically. If you increase the cap of users for Jira Software, your subscription for the capacity tracker will automatically increase (and the bill will increase as you would expect)
