I've looked through the questions at https://answers.atlassian.com/search/?q=jiraconnectuser&topic=all&t=question&Submit=search&sort=active

When I added JMC to my account, it did not automatically add the jiraconnectuser. I do not want to add a fake user with that name. How do I get that user automatically provisioned?

I disabled and then reenabled JMC, but it didn't work either.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Jeff,

You have to mannualy create "jiraconnectuser" and grant the necessary create issue permission to this account. Looks like JMC do not provision the needed account.

This answer is right. Maybe I missed it, but it appeared as if the account should be automatically provisioned based on the tutorial video. And that it would be a waste of a user account to create it manually. Thanks!
