when I try to start Jira I'm getting below error . please help

**********     Wrong JVM version! You are running with .. but JIRA requires at least 1.8 to run.      **********

Padmasree,

 

Based on the error you are getting, it seems you are not using the correct JVM version. JIRA 7.0+ require Java 1.8+. Please make sure that you have Java 1.8 installed and your JAVA_HOME variable correctly configured. After that, please restart and let us know how it goes.
