how to check whether Jira is linked to confluence, is there a way Jira/confluence admin can check it.

could you do us a favour? Please don't just use "jira" or "conflunce" as a summary for your question. It's quite hard for the other supporting members to open several questions just named "jira" or "confluence". Being a bit more specific would help us alot.

There's over 111 thousand questions here tagged with Jira. 

As a tag, it is great, as it specifies what Atlassian application it is about.  As a question, it is utterly useless.

Adding the links should do. You can see the status there saying connected once you are done with the steps

Go to setting > General configurations > application links

 

you can find all the apps integrated with JIRA. If you want to integrate please follow the instructions in the link
