jira plugins for cloud

We have a requirement for certain workflows as well as certain plugins that appear to be supported for the JIRA server product but not JIRA cloud. How do i import jar files or is it possible to import plugins for the server product to the cloud version? The big issue i have is when creating a project in jira, i do not have very granular options for project types with their workflows and need to be able to use development and qa workflows.

Please advise.

Cloud does not allow the installation of "type 2 plugins".  You will need to find or write a Cloud Connect equivalent.
