jira plan Group by assignee

For some reason, i see other assignees in a swimmlane of my own assignments.
Why is this happening? is it something with the user definition?

I do -

1. view settings - > group by -> assignee
2. Under assignee BK i see other assignees like GY and others

It sounds like "assignee BK" is a custom field you've added.  Jira is grouping your swimlanes by the actual assignee, not a custom field.
