Hello @prabha
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
We are a user community. We cannot start trial subscriptions for you.
Customers need to start their subscriptions to Atlassian products for themselves.
You can start your own trial of Jira and Confluence by visiting the Atlassian website.
You might want to sign up for the Teamwork Collection, which includes Jira, Confluence, Loom, and Rovo.
Or you might want to sign up for Jira and Confluence individually.
Note that there are subscription (plan) levels.
You can sign up for the products under a Free subscription if you have no more than 10 users granted access to the product. You can remain on the Free subscription for as long as you want, but you cannot have more than 10 users and you must keep actively using the product. (Products under a Free subscription that are inactive for 120 consecutive days may be deactivated and deleted.)
There are also paid subscription plans that provide more functionality, but you pay for the number of users that are granted access. Those are the Standard and Premium subscription plans. Trials of those have a limited time frame. I believe the maximum for those time frames is 30 days. After that you must start paying for the subscription or downgrade to the Free plan which would require reducing the number of users.
If you would like to work directly with Atlassian on this, you can complete the form to contact their Billing/Pricing/Licensing Support team here:

Hello @prabha
I provided the answer to that question already. You cannot get a free trial for the Standard or Premium subscriptions for an entire year.
A free trial of a Standard subscription is 14 days.
A free trial of a Premium subscription is 30 days.
You can get a Free subscription, limited to 10 users and with reduced functionality, for as long as you want.
You can sign up for a Collection that contains both Jira and Confluence, plus Loom, here:
https://www.atlassian.com/collections/teamwork
Or you can sign up for just Jira here:
https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira
After signing up for a subscription to Jira you can add a subscription to Confluence following the instructions here:
Or you can sign up for just Confluence here:
https://www.atlassian.com/software/confluence

@Trudy Claspill Thank you for your detailed explanation and for clarifying the available subscription options.
I understand that Atlassian does not normally offer a one-year free trial for Standard or Premium subscriptions. However, I wanted to kindly request if there is any startup-specific program, exception, or extended evaluation option that could be considered in our case.
We are an early-stage startup and are in the process of setting up our long-term tooling. Recreating applications or migrating data after short trial periods would be quite challenging and disruptive for us at this stage. Our intention is to adopt Jira and Confluence properly and continue with Atlassian long term, once we stabilize and secure funding.
If this is not possible directly, could you please advise:
We truly value Atlassian products and would like to build our processes around Jira and Confluence from the beginning.
Thank you for your time and understanding. I appreciate your support and look forward to your guidance.

Hi @prabha! I hope your 2026 is off to a great start ☺️
Trudy's messages here are accurate - the Community Forums (where we are now) are not able to help in terms of getting license(s) started, trial or not.

Thank you for sharing the information about options for start-ups @PJ Zaiac . I was not aware of that but will note it for future reference!
