issue type multi-line description

Hello 

Is there a way to describe issue types more verbosely ? 
Currently, the issue type description seems to be one-line only, without markdown 

I woukd like to add multi-line text, with markdown and so on as type description (and report this description in ShowConstantsHelp.jspa?decorator=popup page

Hi @y.pell , welcome to the community.

You can edit the descriptions by going to settings – issues – issue types. Click on the ellipses To the right of the issue type of interest and choose edit.

But, the point is about "multi-line" (not issue type editing). Even if i want to edit an issue type, the "description field" is still a single-line field

To give you more context, we currently use more than 75 issue types (because of many factors....), and a clear documentation must be done about when to use which issue type. Currently, we use a Confluence page, but .... I'm not satisfied about that. Moreover, Jira offers the summarized types, statuses, etc, page with ShowConstantsHelp.jspa and it's that i would like to use
