issue attributes

I'm new in Jira Administration

my users have a tendency of logging issues as blockers via email, how can i configure

issue attributes so they dont log everything as blockers?

Set a different priority as default, see here

you can set the priority to e.g. Major in a post function of the create step within your workflow
