is there any API available to get bulk issues

we are using API for getting issue type for single issues. now in my projects we need to fetch bulk isses. is there any possible way to get at one shot. means if bulk retrival is there it will easy for reduce the API calls. please can you share the information.

You can use the Issue Search API to get bulk issues, that should give you the field for Issue type.

thanks for replay. whatever you specified that api will work for fetch the jira's which are related to the project, but my concern is want get the bulk issue with the specified jira issues. please can you check.
