is there any option for chat in jira software?

when people work upon missions, they need to communicate with other team members in public or privet. is it possible?

There is no chat function in Jira however, you can integrate Jira with chat applications like Slack, Mattermost, e.t.c that in turn provide you a chat like functionality.
