is application navigator automatically finding other tools ?

We have all of our application navigator links hidden in all of out tools. I just noticed that we the app nav menu now has some entries for applications used in other depts. as well as https://bitbucket.org/atlassian

How did this get into our system, looking at html logs, nobody in our group has touched the app nav link in admin in the past 2 weeks. where does it come from and how can I disable it.

If you connect Atlassian Applications via Application Link, it automatically adds an item to the Application Navigator.
