Is there a way to display parent issue with their respective subtasks in an organized indented list?

It's functionality goes way beyond what you are requesting, but this is possible with Structure. It's got a lot of neat features, including adding parent issues with their children into a structure, allowing you to reorder them to display a certain way, as well as provide further indentation (hierarchy).

i'm not quite sure what you're looking for here, but what comes to mind is the JIRA Parent Issue Summary plugin. For us, we use this plugin for the 'Executive Summary' which shows a cleaner view of the parent and child summaries.
