Docs for importing from FogBugz on demand (https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Importing+Data+from+FogBugz+On+Demand) specify that instructions are not applicable to JIRA on demand. Is there any documentation for such migration, what restrictions apply?
Specifically, can custom fields be migrated? Documentation is really vague on this - it says they can be mapped to JIRA custom fields, but FogBugz Custom Fileds plugin is not supported - but this plugin is actually the only way to create custom fields in FogBUgz on demand. So is it supported or not?
Also, can tags be migrated?
The documentation you referred also applies to JIRA Importers Plugin which is installed in OnDemand. I'm not aware of any limitations.
To clarify there are some fields in FogBugz like Computer that when importer to JIRA become custom fields. These are supported.
FogBugz fields created with a Custom Fields plugin are not supported either on JIRA standalone or JIRA OnDemand.
There's an issue https://studio.atlassian.com/browse/JIM-431 for JIRA Importers Plugin for this feature.
You can vote for it to express your interest. But I don't expect it fixed soon as it is 2 years old and no one expressed much of an interest about it.
Pawel, thanks for the answer, now it's clear. As a workaround, is it possible to use CSV import to update existing JIRA issues and add custom field values?

Yes, that's possible. You need to add a column in CSV with an issue key and map it during the wizard. It will then check if it can find a matching issue, if it does the issue will be updated.

Thank you, this solution should also work for us.
