if i upgrade to a new version, will the old license be valid?

Hi,

I need to upgrade my atlassian tools. i have a valid license for the current installed version. after upgrade will the same license be valid for the upgraded version also?

or i should purchase new license for the upgraded version?

Not Required to purchase new..the old one will work till the subscrip[tion period ends.

but I can see this line in the bitbucket's license page.

"Support and updates for Atlassian Bitbucket will end on 01 Feb 2019. Updates released after this date will not be valid with this license"

can you please clarify this?

It's trying to tell you that your licence is valid for any version of Bitbucket released before Feb 1st 2019
