i have changed the status in workflow in one project and now its replicated to other projects in jira. please help

Yes as @Alexey Matveev mentioned Statuses are global entities, to get rid of this...

please copy the existing workflow and workflow scheme which you want to change the status name and make the change to that particular workflow status and associate the workflow scheme to respective project.

So that the changes will reflect only to that respective project.

Hello,

That is how Jira works. Statuses are global enitites. They are not tied to a project. If you change the name of a status in one project, the name of this status will be changed in all projects, which use the same status.
