i am unable to select assignee even after entering their ID

configure board -> quick filters -> JQL -> assignee = ID of employee 
after following this process the employee name is not appearing.

Hi @prateek.pandab 

If I remember correctly there is not JQL support when creating quick filters in Data center, but if you do a normal search and paste your JQL you can verify that it is correct. It might also convert your name in clear text to the Atlassian-ID you need to use in the quick filter.

Also please verify that the user a licensed user in jira and have the permission "Assignable user"? 

You can check the permission via the permission helper. I am not sure where it is located in datacenter but i think it was under System -> Permission schemas

Thanks for the prompt response. The employee id is converted to name automatically for other members. Only few members id is not being detected even though they are logged in to Jira.
