how to use reports using rest api like pie chart, created vs resolved

i want to use the reports so that i can use the graphical representation of my project issues,.

The charts are generated when they are rendered, by the report calling for a list of issues and their data and running code to create a report from them.

The REST API provides the list of issues and their data.  Drawing a report from that is up to whatever is making the REST call.
