how to upload an attachment using REST API using java program

Can someone please help me the code to add an attachment without issuekey. Using issue key the activity happens 2 times like first it is creating an issue then using issuekey it is uploading the attachment.

This i would like to avoid.

Also, i need help to setAffectedVersion in jira by using java programming.

Hi @Ratna Kumar ,

you need an issue key in order to add an attachment. You can do that after issue creation (as post process) through a post function or a listener.
