how to remove old sprint number to a Jira bug/story

Hi Team,

 

Some of the JIRA tickets are having the old Sprint values to the Sprint field like ( Sprint 7, current sprint number) .

How to remove the old Sprint numbers from the tickets ?

You could: Bulk change the issues and edit the sprint field or add the sprint field to the issue and remove the sprint manually. This will affect your reporting statistics though...

JIRA adds the sprint to the issue if it is in an active sprint or has been in a sprint that has been completed by default

Unfortunately you cannot, if the sprint is closed then you cannot edit the information.

But if it is an active sprint, you can take it out of sprint and remove the association.
