how to notifiy to a group when issue created for specific component?

I have the need to inform a user group when I open an issue of a particular components. you think you can do it with jira and how?

Hi Calogero,

You can add the group to the notification scheme of your project so they get a notification when an issue has been created, but this would notify the group of all newly created issues.

You could also write a listener or use a scripted post function to do this (take a look at the ScriptRunner Plugin for those things).
