Hi I am using the trial version of JIRA, i was working on a demo project and i closed few issues.

Today when i tried to login to JIRA, its not letting me inn with the error message as , " Cannot change ComponentManager status from NOT_STARTED to PLUGINSYSTEM_STARTED". 

Could anyone help me with this issue/error

I used JIRA-agile Cloud... so i do not have logs in my system..

however with the help you provided I searched or JIRA in my system... stopped then started JIRA service.... got through the issue.

You need to investigate the JIRA log files from <JIRA_INSTALL>/logs or <JIRA_HOME>/log to get a good clue about your problem. Probably the information you need is at atlassian-jira.log file in the <JIRA_HOME>/log.

Also take a look at this KB that may be related to your problem.
