Hello,
I am (solely) admin in a project and I am not able to save the list view as it is set up. I created additional fields/columns and placed them in a specific order but it is not getting saved. whenever i disconnect and come back, the "default" layout is back.
Any idea how i can fix that?
Thanks!

welcome to the community!
I can't really reproduce this on my site, and I'm pretty sure this isn't intentional - the easiest might be to reach out to Atlassian Support. Please keep us posted on what they say.
Alternatively, if you're looking for an immediate resolution and are open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, you'll have options, too. I'll add more information below.
Best,
Hannes
... and just to expand on the last point: If you're looking for an immediate resolution and are open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, you may want to have a look at the app that my team and I are working on, JXL for Jira.
JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting, and filtering by all your issue fields, much like you’d do in e.g. Excel or Google Sheets. It also comes with a range of advanced features - including support for (configurable) issue hierarchies, issue grouping by any issue field(s), sum-ups, or conditional formatting - and works across any number of projects.
Plus, any changes that you make to your view will be persisted, and you'll always come back to your sheet exactly the way you left it.
This is how it looks in action:

Thanks Hannes.
Unfortunately payed apps are no option right now, even tho it looks great! There must be a solution on my issue which still persists. Will report it out when fixed.,
Have a nice day!
