Hi All,

When a set of Issues are linked to an Epic, the 'estimate' for the Epic is automatically calculated as the sum of the estimates for all of its 'child' issues.

This is very useful.

Is there a way for the same functionality to be applied to issues that are not Epics...?

I have a set of Epics, each of which contain a set of high-level Stories. These high-level Stories in turn contain a number of individual low level stories, which are in turn split down into 'Sub-Tasks'.

Is there a way for the estimates for the low-level stories to automatically feed into the high-level Stories, which in turn feed into the Epics...?

cheers

Paul

Not without customizations. The Epic roll-up is provided by the JIRA Agile plugin. It is not available for other link types or issue types.
