Hello! I would like to check if anyone knows how to easily customize each field that is readily for updating when you create different issue type.
For example, when i create a new custom issue type, I named it "RISK". When I create a risk issue, i wanted the fields the i have created for it as "Risk Status" or Risk summary or Risk raised by, I want this field only be available for the Risk issue type, while the creation of story issue will stay the same as the original.

With what type of project are you working? You can get that information from the View all projects screen under the Projects menu.
It is possible to customize the set of fields available per issue type. F
or Company Managed projects that involves the Screens, Screen Schemes, and Issue Type Screen Scheme associated with the project. Those elements an be managed only by a Jira Administrator. Information on that can be found here:

For Team Managed projects a Project Administrator can customize the fields available per project through the Project Settings of the project. You can find information about that here:
