how to create a graphical report on total planned vs total completed work based on cumulative sprint

Xy Peralta April 17, 2024

We have burnup chart and velocity chart, but we only have them per sprint. What we need is to consolidation of the burnup chart combining all the sprints that have been completed.

Follow up question, if we can also do this with future sprints that are not yet activated.

Hi @Xy Peralta,

I think that what you are looking for is a "release burnup chart". Jira does not have such report or gadget.

But you can easily generate one by using the Release Burndown Burnup Chart gadget offered by our Great Gadgets app.

All you have to do is to configure the gadget with the issues form your project/release, set the timeline and intervals of same length as you sprints. Optionally, you can choose to display forecast or milestones or to configure it as burndown instead of burnup.

See more examples of this gadget and the many others offered by the same app in these articles:

Hope this helps. If you need any help, please contact us at support@stonikbyte.com.
