Welcome to the Community!

The short version of this is simply "add a new status to the workflow, and map it into the board (probably in the 'done' column as 'archive' suggests you no longer expect to work on it)"

For more detail on exactly how you would do this, we'll need to know if you are working in a company-managed or team-managed project, and what type of board you have (project, kanban, scrum etc)

Hi Manisha,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

For project changes, you must be Project / Board administrator.

1) You have change your project workflow -> add new workflow status for eg. "Archived". Please see Work with issue workflows

2) Manage Board - you need to add a new column and map a new status to it. Please see Configure columns

3) You can move the issue to a new state.
