Hi, i'm a new Jira Admin,

I got a request to make an automation that grants a user (not part of the service desk) slected in a custom field "Prime" access to internal and external comments, i've already figured the automation with scriptrunner, now I need help to configure a role with the needed permissions, idealy giving access to only the comments of that ticket they are chosen as prime would be best, is it possible ? im thinking service desk agent, but i'm not sure if that would grant them access to mess with other parts of the project...

Thanks,

JJ

Hi @Jala Joli

Welcome to community!

The user would also need at least Jira if not JSM license. And added a collaborator (through Service Team agent role), they can view internal/external comments and make only internal comments.
