how to close bulk jira tickets?

I know about the bulk change and I am able to access it.  The thing is, it gives me a very long list of fields. What field do I search for in order to close out the tickets? 

I am on the Step 3 of 4: Operation Details step, where it lets me to choose different fields to modify.

Hi Ardian,

I would do a bulk change with just one or two issues as a test, and ignore all of the fields it presents you with and see if that accomplishes what you need with no problems.

Thanks John, but how do I close them? For example, say I pick two issues, then what? If I click next, next ,etc, I dont think it asks me to close them. It just confirms the changes I did.

You choose Transition issues instead of Edit issues. Then you transition to the Closed status (or Done or whatever you use).
