how to change the project lead

I'm trying to change the project lead from my project using the directions at https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/how-to-change-a-project-lead-in-7-1/qaq-p/189719#M79176 and am having some difficulty.

The first two steps are manageable enough but the third step is problematic because I do not see a "Roles" menu item. Here's what I see:

Select Project Settings -> People. Adjust roles for existing people or add new people from this screen.

Based on the "Use the links on the sidebar navigate between the different project settings. Read the sections below for a description of each setting" blurb at the top of that article it seems like doing Ctrl + F, typing in "role" and hitting enter should get me at least one result but it isn't getting me any.

Here's a screenshot:

Ctrl +F for "project" gets me six results (all locations visible from the screenshot lol) but "role" doesn't get me any. Not even stuff outside of the range of the screenshot.
