how to change a filter linked to a scrum board

i set up a board and used a random filter, but now i want to change it to MY filter.  how can i change the filter tied to the board i created?  this should be easy.....

It depends on a number of factors. Do you see Board setting in the upper right corner of your board? If so select and go into General and edit the board filter. If not let me know what you do see. A screen shot would be great.
