Hi @vgross - You can't assign workflows to next-gen projects in the same way that you can in classic projects. In next-gen you can add, remove, and rearrange the columns on your board to create very simple workflows, but that's it.

I can confirm however that configurable workflows (which can be copied across next-gen projects) is on the team's radar, and is currently in the works. You can check out the Jira Software Cloud public roadmap to learn more.

Next-gen does not do workflows, it's generated by the configuration of your status in the project.
