how i can download jira souce code. i want to do some modification in jira UI.

i am a student and i want to edit the JIRA UI. I want to add an HTML page as plugin to jira UI. kindly guide me how i can do this.

As already pointed out by Joe Pitt you can download the application source code from this URL (https://my.atlassian.com/download/source) once you own a license.

When you download JIRA and install it you will have access to the source code on server you install it on. You can buy a 10 user license for $10.
