how do i turn over my admin rights to another engineer in my department

how do i turn over all admin rights to another engineer in my department?  i've always been a placeholder admin as i know little of Atlassian/Jira.  i'm turning it over to an engineer who's recently been added and knows much more than do i.

Hey @Kenneth Stephen Belluch and welcome to Atlassian Community.

You can do this via admin.atlassian.com, go to Organization Settings > Administrators and add your colleague there as an admin.

If required you can also make project owner settings at the project level to give your new admin rights there.
