I am trying to find a way to give anonymous users access to view team reports that include work logs and time spent on each project in Jira without giving them access to the full Jira platform. I was wondering if anyone has experience in creating a read-only view of the report within Jira that anonymous users can access.
One approach I've considered is creating a filter in Jira that returns the issues I want to include in the report, then saving the filter and making it public so anyone with the link can access it. Next, I would create a dashboard in Jira and add a "filter results" gadget to it, selecting the filter I just created and configuring it to display the information I want to include in the report, such as work logs and time spent on each project.
I would like to know if it is possible to group the reports by month and if Jira has a feature that can be used to send the reports to anonymous users. I have read that some Jira instances may have the option to share the dashboard by generating a token link or making it public, but I am not sure if this would work for my case.
Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
