how can i put restrictions on user permissions?

I was testing my workflow and as a dev , I could go on with the qa , product owner roles.

I still dont know how to restrict users to their roles?

What i understand is that you want to restrict some transitions to certain project roles. You can define which project roles get to execute the transition in the consitions tab on the workflow.
