I like to query for a specific string inside a custom field.
I know I can do text ~ "/"mytext/"" but that searched the whole ticket. I like to be able to apply this to a specific field. Search within field A for string "xyz".
Anyone?
"text" is a macro for many fields. Just name the exact field, like "fielda ~ /mytext/"

This does not work. I think I know why. This custom field is not of Search Template Text Searcher. It is Remote ID Searcher.
