how can I create a new project with same name of deleted one

There was a project I created that had somethings wrong so I decided to delete the project and start over. But when I was trying to create a new one with the same name it won't let me! How to solve this problem ?

Hi Elaf - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

When you delete a project, it actually goes to the Trash. You need to go there and permanently delete it. Settings > Projects > Trash
